The CIRCOLO CULTURALE invite the students to talk in Italian about art and culture in their multiple aspects. We will discuss classic and contemporary "opere”.  Each of the participants will have the opportunity to discuss, reflect on details that would otherwise escape, encompassing the work in the historical context in which it was created, satisfying the intellectual curiosity about the artist, her/ his ideas,  emotions and techniques used.

Questo Circolo is based on three words: read, share, learn. My class uses reading as a means of aggregation and represents an excellent way to practice the Italian language and stimulate the passion for the culture of the "Bel Paese".

The CIRCOLO DEL LIBRO, facilitate and encourage communication and the exchange of both opinions and cultural interpretations between readers from all over the world who wish to live a different, unusual, new, shared, constructive reading experience.

This class will definitely expand your knowledge of Italian language through cinema by improving your ability to speak, read, listen and participate in discussions based on selected topics & scenes. The films serve as a catalyst for thought provoking cultural and linguistic examination.

Each 7-week course introduces a specific topic. Some of the topics we have covered in the past: "Italian Women Directors", "Blaxploitalian: Afro-Italians In Italian Cinema", "Gayexploitalian: Lgbtq+ In The Italian Cinema",  and many more.
